WEAPONS DETECTIONS SYSTEM (WDS)

WDS detects concealed threats, such as weapons, knives and bombs, on person or in baggage. The US military-qualified technology was adapted from a long-linear form factor for perimeter security. The system is optimized for facility or area entrance threat detection.

• Our sensors detect the signature of weapons in motion.
• Using machine learning algorithms, we can classify weapons and ignore items such as phone, keys, wallets, etc.
• System provides an alert when weapons signature is detected.

• Once the system classifies a potential weapon, TM2 analysts alert details and categorize the threat.
• We use the standard HomeLand Security alert colors to demote severity.

• Instant notifications are provided to security personnel.
• Security observes, intercepts, screens or secures the suspect.

Advances in radar technology has led to weapons detection systems capable of learning, adapting and ensuring detection of concealed weapons and explosives. Until now, microwave radars were only available for military service, but they are now being used in commercial, and consumer applications.
